This galaxy is a good example of a spiral galaxy seen edge on.
It lies at a distance of about 80 million light years and is 160,000 light years across or about the size of the Milky Way Galaxy.
This image was a stack of 6 x 10 minute exposures taken with the MX716 camera and the 16" telescope.
