NGC 2523, SPIRAL GALAXY

NGC 2523

This Spiral Galaxy lies at a distance of about 150 million light years. It is roughly 130,000 light years across or just a bit smaller than our Milky Way.

This image was a stack of seven 10 min exposures with the MX716 camera through the 16" scope.
